Projekttitel: „To Solola“ – TikTok-Kanal zur Förderung der Mehrsprachigkeit für Kinder und Jugendliche kongolesischer Herkunft in Wien

„To Solola“ ist ein innovativer TikTok-Kanal, der sich an Kinder, Jugendliche und Eltern kongolesischer Herkunft in Wien richtet. Ziel war es, gesellschaftlich relevante Themen aus dem Alltag der Diaspora sichtbar zu machen und Herausforderungen der Mehrsprachigkeit (Deutsch, Lingala, Französisch) zu beleuchten.

Mit „To Solola“ wurde ein innovatives Bildungs- und Integrationsprojekt ins Leben gerufen wurde, um junge Menschen mit afrikanischen Wurzeln - besonders aus der Demokratischen Republik Kongo - in Wien/Österreich zu erreichen und zu stärken. Der Kanal vermittelt alltagsnahe Inhalte zu Themen wie Pflegeberufe, Integration, Mehrsprachigkeit, Kindererziehung, interkulturelles Leben und gesellschaftliche Teilhabe – auf unterhaltsame und zugängliche Weise. Die Videos wurden auf Deutsch produziert und mit Untertiteln in Lingala und Französisch versehen, um möglichst viele Community-Mitglieder zu erreichen und sprachliche Barrieren abzubauen.

Die Inhalte verbinden persönliche Geschichten mit pädagogischem Mehrwert: Interviews mit einer Pflegekraft, Eltern und Expert:innen liefern wertvolle Einblicke und Tipps für ein gelingendes Leben zwischen den Kulturen. Themen wie Spracherwerb, Kindererziehung, Rassismus, Neugier und kindliche Entwicklung wurden kreativ und verständlich aufbereitet – etwa durch Quizzes und die Thematisiserung von Alltagssituationen.

Das Projekt wurde unter der Leitung von Madge Gill Bukasa, Obfrau des Vereins Die Bunten, entwickelt und umgesetzt. Sie war verantwortlich für die Projekt- und Inhaltsleitung und Produktion der Videos. Trésor Khonde, Musiker und Moderator, übernahm die redaktionelle Leitung und sorgte durch seine Moderationen für Authentizität, Nähe zur Zielgruppe und hohe inhaltliche Qualität. Ange Kunda, Präsident von UDC-Union dela Diaspora Congolaise, war Namensgeber des Kanals und auch Talkgast zum Thema 30. Juni, dem kongolesischen Unabhängigkeitstag. Mag. Kumru Uzunkaya-Sharma, Expertin für Mehrsprachigkeit, war häufige Talk-Gästin, wirkte als wissenschaftliche Begleiterin und unterstützte die pädagogische Fundierung. Ngubi Ntemo Olivier zeichnete für Kamera, Licht und Ton verantwortlich. Die technische Studioleitung übernahm Andreas Frank.
